Open Letter To Oromiyaa President Mr. Muktar Kadir
Dear Mr. Muktar Kadir
Student Beekan Gulumma Irrana
Following the Beekan Gulumma's publication of a book written in afaan Oromo, the following individuals has been calling and threatening him with death.
1. Dr. Mitikkuu Teessoo, Amboo university president
Beekan has been told by these men that he will be killed if he doesn't leave the country immediately. According to our source, this fictional book written by Beekan Guluma happen to talk about the irregular and illegal justice system resulted in the death of several students in Ambo. Apparently the book unintentionally made these men mad and now they terrorize him with black mailing attack using their power as OPDO central committee members. Their goal is to exert a potent influence on him and hide whatever crime they are hiding.
Believing that there is nothing this young student can do to defend himself from their attack, they call him on the phone and tell him that a killing squad is assembled to take him out unless he flee the country immediately. So far, Beekan has received many telephone calls through which the above individuals informed him that he should be awaiting the result of their action. Because of their bitter hatred, Beekan, their predetermined victim can not focus on his education. If Beekan violated the law of the country, legal hearing can be arranged or he can be charged with the violation he has been accused with. However, the men whose names are written above have already appointed themselves as an official judges and passed death sentence with no interrogative examination or court involvement.
Nonetheless, these men may think that they are superhuman who can pass death sentence on anybody they don't like but their cowardly assault and evil acts bear witness to who they really are. Their objective is to bring this young man to submission. However, this constitute another appeal to the principles of justice; if what Beekan has written was illegal, why didn't they bring him to court and challenge him legally? What right do they have to judge, condemn, and punish a law abiding citizen?.
